This person will work with the purchasing manager on supplier selection and negotiations until S.O.P. at which point he or she will be responsible for continuing order placement and stock level management in line with our production programme. The position will also involve the development of procedures to monitor and guide supplier performance in terms of delivery timing and quality.
Successful applicants will have prior negotiation and purchasing experience, together with a proven record in material planning and supply chain services, preferably in an automotive or similar manufacturing environment.
